30 Days of Lists: September Goals & Happy Things

It's September, and that means the start of 30 Days of Lists! I created my own simple hand-bound journal to use exclusively for this project. Here are my lists from days 1 and 2.


For some reason, I had a really hard time coming up with goals for September. Maybe it's psychological: by actually WRITING down goals, they become more real and it makes me feel more accountable for those goals. I thought of a few more I could add to this list:
  • try at least 3 new types of green leafy vegetables (bok choy, collard greens, chard, etc)
  • watch 1 movie per week that I've already seen and I know I like (I always feel too much pressure to only watch movies I haven't seen before, but there are some oldies that I know I'll enjoy!)
  • post every single one of my 30 lists
  • get my new blog layout up (I'm working on it behind the scenes)
  • drink tea every day

This list of Happy Things made me think of yesterday when I was trying to come up with a list of things I'm into. It includes the types of things you might list in a profile about yourself. Here's what I came up with. I'm Into...
  • drawing
  • blogging
  • colorful things
  • cooking
  • arts & crafts
  • reading
  • people-watching (does that count?)
That's all I can think of for now... I'll keep working on this one, and stay tuned for more lists - all this month!
