Top 10 Disney Movies

One of my new weekly amusements is listening to the nostalgia on the new podcast Mash the 90s. I know one of the guys who makes this podcast, so hearing memories from someone who grew up near where I grew up makes it even more radical. I was inspired by Mash the 90s to make a list of my top 10 all-time favorite Disney movies.

  1. Excellent films all...!! Almost all of those are very precious to me. Disney fanatic that I am, I don't know how I could ever narrow it all down! I do know that "Oliver & Company" and "Lady and the Tramp" would have to be somewhere near the top, though. ;D

  2. Your definition of "Disney movie" is pretty loose here. Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, and The Incredibles were all created by Pixar, Spirited Away was produced by Studio Ghibli, and James and the Giant Peach was created through a joint venture with three different studios. Disney just distributed each of them; the company had no hand in actually making them.

  3. You are right, Charles. This should probably be "top Disney-marketed movies!" :)

  4. I think of most of those as Disney films anyway--especially the Pixar ones made since Disney acquired Pixar, and James and the Giant Peach, which was always advertised with the Disney name on my Disney videos...so that got kind of drilled into me, lol.
