Project Life Week 11 : budding blossoms

It always feels like the week flies by and then I take most of my photos on the weekend. Oh well, at least I took some pictures!

project life week 11

I experimented with a few different shapes in my layout this time: a HUGE spot and a series of 3 tiny spots. This week was Rob's and my 7th anniversary of being together ♥. So the biggest spot in the spread is dedicated to our anniversary (it's a screenshot of my facebook post that day). The 3 small spots in the lower right are screenshots of various webpages: a nice comment, a chart of investments, and the test results of my personality type!

Turns out I'm an INFJ - The Protector.
(This is the test I took.)

The majority of my photos this week are pics of food. Surprise surprise. We ate delicious Ethiopian food at Das Ethiopian and I made Lentil Loaf for the first time and Tofu "Egg" Salad for the umpteenth time (it's one of my favorites!)

We walked by the Jefferson Memorial and the tidal basin and saw that the cherry blossom trees are just budding. They're supposed to peak between March 26 - 30. We'll definitely be coming back to see them!

  1. Yeah! Happy Anniversary! Matt and I are going to South Korea at the end of the month and hope that the cherry blossoms are blooming then!
I am so glad you took the personality test! How do you think the explanation matches with how you are? Is there anything that really doesn't match up with you? Has Rob taken it yet? I really want to know what his type is, too!

  2. Rochelle, South Korea sounds like fun! They probably have even more cherry blossom trees than here!

I think the personality test explanation matches me pretty well. There are a couple things in there that I don't really see in myself, but most of it seems accurate. Rob hasn't taken it yet but I think he will -- it's more fun to compare your results with others!

Here are some examples of statements I agreed with and didn't agree with:

"Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities."
"...constantly define and re-define the priorities in their lives." (I am always making new goals and trying to figure stuff out)
"...a consistently messy desk." (always. always.)
"...concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone."
"INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts that they are living up to their full potential." (Maybe not the perfectionist part but feeling like there's always room for improvement!)
"...rarely at complete peace with themselves - there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them."
    "...a natural affinity for art..."

    NOT so much:
"They are deep, complex individuals, who are quite private and typically difficult to understand."
"...[may have] stubborness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions."

Comments are delightful - thanks for taking the time to write!
