i believe : my personal manifesto

"i believe"

Lately for work I've been thinking about "we believe" statements about our company culture, and trying to put together a sort of manifesto. My views align pretty well with those company-wide values, but I have some that are just my own. So I wanted to create my own manifesto of "I believe" statements. This is what I believe now, as of October 2013, and they'll probably adjust and change as time goes by.

This was fun to make! I wrote 30 statements, but it was hard to come up with thirty unique ideas that didn't repeat. This got me thinking... wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a personal manifesto or list of their top values? It'd be a lot easier to get to know people and connect with strangers you may not have even considered a potential friend. Manifesto t-shirts! There's an idea :)

  1. I loved this and boy do we have a lot of beliefs in common, a lot. While I do have a 'fancy' camera, I'm really just messing around with it. And sometimes I just take photos with my 'brain camera' as one character in a movie once said about just remembering things.

I'm so happy to have stumbled upon your blog after seeing it on Project 333 and look forward to reading more of your thoughts and sharings. Cheers to you, to thinking positively, remembering we share the world with others and being simple, sustainable, and giving with all we've got.

  4. Rochelle, that is such a good one but BOY is it hard to do! Last night I slept with the curtains open to help wake me up before an alarm is even necessary. But I think the trick really comes down to just going to sleep earlier!
